My career has been less of a straight line and more like one long rubber band getting stretched in increasingly strange directions. It started in music photography, pulled into beauty work that landed in Vogue, cut to 21 year old me handing precariously out of a helicopter in a painter’s harness with a medium-format camera. Commercial photography, video, animation, creative direction, product work, and eventually leading brand and creative teams. Every stop added something useful, usually after I learned the hard way what not to do first. It’s been a wild, slightly improbable ride, but being forced to understand the work from that many angles has made me far better at seeing how all the pieces fit together. I guess all the hodgepodge did me some good.
